Leonardo Severino (b. 1995)

independent filmmaker based in Rome. He graduated with a BA in Drama, Art, and Music Studies from the University of Bologna, covering visual arts, music, performing arts and fashion studies.

He then expanded his experience in Rome working as an Assistant Director on various film sets, which shaped his transition into writing and directing his own projects. His works focuses on the exploration of identity and memory through mood and atmosphere, in a poetic and minimalist style. His debut short film Bianca had its European premiere at the Catania Film Fest 2023.
